When I was in 4^th grade some people in Eastern Europe took it upon themselves to split up into two separate countries: Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Crazy, right? I oppose change as much as the next person (well, maybe not as much as you), so I’ll admit that I went right ahead and continued to call it Czechoslovakia. “DAMN THEM AND THEIR REVOLULTIONS!” I thought to myself (actually, it was more like, “darn them.” I didn’t learn the word “damn” until like 7^th grade).

Finally, around 6^th grade I accepted the Czechs and the Slovaks as their own people. People who could decide to spilt up their countries if they wanted to. Plus, I really wanted to go to Prague.

Apparently its taken a little more time for you to get over that change. Like, 15 years or so. But, come on, John. An 18 year old voter was barely out of diapers when this happened. Its time recognize both countries as their own state. This would be like you referring to Russia as the USSR (you don’t actually do that, do you?).

Let it go, John, Let it go. And let me know if you want to borrow my atlas.
